Hey there girlies! If you personally know me or follow me on any of my social media accounts, you’d know by now that I have just turned 23 last week. Yep, I’m almost halfway through 50 but hey, why not enjoy life while we can right?
For this post, I thought I’d share with you guys our little holiday trip to Jersey (nope, not New Jersey USA, but Jersey Channel Islands). It will be another lengthy post so, again bare with me. 🙂
If you’re wondering where this little island is, it is located in between England and France, though it is closer to France it is still part of the UK. Jersey is a mixture of British and French culture which I find a bit refreshing. The Island felt very French because of the houses and the fact that some of the streets and places are in French.
First stop was St. Aubin where it’s mostly the harbour side and villages.
Our next stop was St. Brelade’s Bay, this is one of my favourites! The beach is amazing on low tides and it has such a relaxing ambiance. I didn’t have much photos here because I got too carried away and chilled too much. LOL!
On the far end of St. Brelade’s Bay is Noirmont Point. This hill has an amazing view, this where some German bunkers still stand.
We visited quite a few places for our first day because all the locations are close to each other and having a car to drive around is very convenient. Our last stop was La Corbiere Lighthouse, we didn’t stay here too long as the wind was getting stronger and colder. We originally wanted to go to the lighthouse but the tide has already risen up to the road to the actual lighthouse.
I hope ya’ll like this post, I will be posting a part two or maybe even three for our Jersey trip.
Tell me what ya’ll think? 🙂
